Synaptic Code

A desktop app for driving coding agent CLIs. It gives Claude Code, Codex CLI, and Cursor CLI a native interface, with threads, projects, worktrees, and reviews on top of the agents you already use.

Install

  1. Download the DMG.
  2. Open it.
  3. Drag Synaptic Code to Applications.

We've done our best to minimize the warnings and pop-ups.

On Windows, run Synaptic-Code-<version>-x64.exe and follow the installer.

On Linux, run chmod +x Synaptic-Code-<version>-<arch>.AppImage where <arch> is x86_64 or arm64, then launch it.

Agent CLIs

Synaptic Code drives the CLIs below. Install at least one before you start.
